Your privacy choices
Last updated
Use this page to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, and to exercise your other privacy rights.
1. Opt out of advertising cookies on this browser
The fastest option, and it takes effect immediately.
Choosing "reject non-essential" sets Google's advertising and analytics storage to denied, redacts advertising identifiers, and enables restricted data processing. Because that choice is stored in this browser, you will need to repeat it on other browsers and devices.
2. Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, automatically and on every visit — you do not need to do anything else. More at globalprivacycontrol.org.
3. Your other rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used and shared.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We will need enough information to verify that the request is really yours — for most requests, replying from the email address you originally contacted us from is sufficient. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer.
4. What we actually hold
We want to be clear about the scale of this. BrewRanked does not run user accounts, does not operate a mailing list, and does not maintain a customer database. Unless you have emailed us, the information associated with you is limited to the technical and usage data described in our privacy policy, most of which is held by Google as our analytics and advertising provider rather than by us directly. Where we cannot identify you from that data, we will tell you so rather than guess.
