Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists what we use and why.
Categories
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. | BrewRanked | No — the site cannot function without it |
| Analytics | Google Analytics. Tells us which pages are read and where people leave, in aggregate. | Yes | |
| Advertising | Google Ads. Measures whether our advertising works and, with consent, personalises the ads you see elsewhere. | Yes |
What we store ourselves
One item, in your browser's local storage, named br_consent_v1. It records your
cookie choice and when you made it, so we can honour it and demonstrate that consent was given.
Nothing in it identifies you.
Before you choose
Until you make a choice, Google's tags run in a restricted state: analytics storage and advertising storage are denied, advertising identifiers are redacted, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Choosing "reject non-essential" keeps them that way permanently on this browser.
Third-party cookies
Google's own descriptions of the cookies it sets are at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies and business.safety.google/adscookies.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link — it is also in the footer of every page — or clear this site's data in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we honour it automatically and no analytics or advertising cookies are set regardless of any earlier choice.
